Effective on 1st July 2022, A and B Powdercoaters changed ownership. Introducing our new name, A&B Coatings, which better reflects the range of coatings offered, not just powder coat.
Three long-term customers have come together to form A&B Coatings Pty Ltd. We look forward to taking our experience as customers to drive changes with improved through-put, quality control and customer service.
We are proud to retain all existing staff and will be adding a few new faces as well. We have had our manager, Wayne Towns onsite working with the current owners, Jason and Kristine since May to ensure continuity and minimal impact on projects in progress.
Our customers choose powder coating because, when it comes to durability and staying power, powder coating wins every time. Applied electrostatically, powder coating uses organic matter to coat the surface and once cured under heat, forms a tough layer which lasts longer than ordinary paint.
For the environmentally conscious, powder coating doesn’t use solvents and subsequently does not produce harmful by-products. Although mostly applied to metals, powder coating can also be used on other materials.
With two ovens, plus two dedicated paint lines, A&B Coatings can work with lengths of up to 8.2 metres. Offering free quotes on all jobs, we work precisely and efficiently to ensure the best results and operate within Australian guidelines at all times.
We use quality brands such as Dulux and Interpon with a comprehensive range of colours to choose from.
Industrial coatings offer increased protection for your equipment and structures, whether it’s from the elements or wear and tear. Although primarily championed for its durability and resilience, an industrial coating can also be aesthetically pleasing, so it ticks all the boxes.
As the name suggests, industrial coating is generally the preferred coating technique for the industrial sector and is used to protect everything from bridges to pipes.
Industrial coating will save you money in the long run by ensuring components and other equipment are suitably prepared for whatever environment they’ll be in.
At A&B Coatings, we’re skilled in working with all types of materials including polyurethane, epoxy and phosphate, as well as many others.
No matter what type of industrial coating you need – and regardless of the scale of your project – when you come to A&B Coatings, you can be assured of top-quality workmanship. Our team provides an efficient service and always gives each job the same attention to detail for the best results.
For affordable and professional industrial coatings, we’re the perfect choice.
When you come to A&B Coatings for sandblasting services, we guarantee a great finish to whatever surface you need us to work on.
Our expert team can sandblast anything; from your work machinery or office buildings, to security doors, garden furniture, bicycles, car parts, and more. Highly effective on all types of metal, including steel, aluminium and wrought-iron, sandblasting is a multi-functional method which can be used to create the exact look you desire.
We also ensure all sandblasted steel auto parts are industrial or powder coated same day.
At A&B Coatings we have years of experience using this technique and can provide free quotes on any work you might want us to do.
From making rough surfaces smooth, or smooth surfaces rough, sandblasting can change the shape, colour and overall appearance of surfaces for the better. Also known as abrasive blasting, sandblasting uses sand, blasted at high velocity against a surface, to smooth it and clean it. From dirt and grime, to rust and paint, if you want it removed, then sandblasting is the key.
